The program for the first evening is a special guided tour through the Vienna Technical Museum.

The Vienna Technical Museum is a place full of surprising insights – and is thus the ideal location for successful events! In this museum, the historical panache of former times meets today's high-tech world – a unique association that will amaze our evening. Let discovering technology become an exciting part of our evening reception!

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE VIENNA TECHNICAL MUSEUM

As one of the oldest museums of its kind, the Vienna Technical Museum (Technisches Museum Wien) looks back on more than 100 years of history. On 20 June 1909 Emperor Franz Joseph laid the foundation stone for the Vienna Technical Museum as we know it today. In 2009 the Museum celebrated the centenary of that splendid day while looking back at the ten-year anniversary of the Museum’s re-opening following its refurbishment and redesign in the 1990s.

Second Evening

Evening Dinner at the "Heurigen"

The program for the second evening will be a dinner in a traditional wine-restaurant called "Heuriger".
Located in the heart of Neustift am Walde between vineyards and the Vienna Woods Ernst and Gerti Huber's Winery with its cosy parlours and romantic patio has been a popular wine tavern for almost 30 years. The architect for the house was Professor Walter von Hoesslin, the stage designer of the Vienna Opera House. Mrs Huber herself took over the interior design: the rustic atmosphere is always cosy no matter where you are: the "Pressstüberl", the "Schmiede", the "Stadl", the "Keller" or the "Dachböden"

The best way to reach the "Heurigen"-restaurant is by public transport. There is a bus line 35A into the direction of "Salmannsdorf/Neustift" and has its stop, called "Neustift am Walde", in front of the restaurant. For those who are not so familiar with the transport system in Vienna we will organize a meeting point and will lead you there.
