
Development of Academic Program on Energy System Planning and Analysis in Nepal
Center for Energy Studies (CES) at the Institute of Engineering (IOE) of Tribhuvan University has joined hands with the Institute for Energy Systems and Thermodynamics (IET) at Vienna University of Technology, with the objectives of building capacity of energy systems planning and analysis for developing sustainable energy policies in the country and creating awareness for the universal access to electricity. This project is funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation under the APPEAR programme (Austrian Partnership Programme in Higher Education and Research for Development).
Delegates from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal
Delegates from Nepal and the Austrian Partners will present the energy situation in NEPAL and the installed master course for "Energy System Planning and analysis" at the Tribhuvan University. The following members of this University will attend the conference.

The Unit for Energy Systems Planing and Analysis is embeded in the Center for Energy Studies (CES), which is under the umbrella of the Institute of Engineering (IOE) at the Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Nepal. The partner institution of the project is the Institute for Energy Systems and Thermodynamics at the University of Technology Vienna, Austria.
